This is such a great list! I’m especially excited to listen to Confessions. It sounds JUICY!

I would like to shamelessly recommend my own new podcast, Dead and Kind of Famous. Just in time for spooky season, it’s a biweekly podcast that digs into the lives of the slightly less famous (but still kinda famous) residents of the iconic Hollywood Forever Cemetery. It’s a grave-centric history romp and it’s been such a pleasure to learn about the FASCINATING lives of these dead folks. Check out the substack @deadandkindafamous

Recommending a new show leading up to Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Less Radical! With Breast Cancer Awareness Month coming in October, Dr. Stacy Wentworth has decided to launch her new podcast, Less Radical, on September 25 to tell the story of Dr. Bernie Fisher, the surgeon-scientist who not only revolutionized breast cancer treatment and fundamentally changed the way we understand all cancers. It's such an important and timely listen and the storytelling is promised to be spectacular.

Would love to recommend Fine Dining: The Hilarious Search for the Most Mediocre Restaurant in America! https://www.finediningpodcast.com/

I’m unashamedly obsessed with chain restaurants—they’re like a cozy blanket of nostalgia, offering the comforting promise of predictability. There’s something oddly reassuring about knowing exactly what you’re going to get, even if it’s gloriously mediocre. That’s why I was instantly hooked on Fine Dining. Host Michael Ornelas takes listeners on a hilarious journey across the country, in search of the perfectly mediocre chain restaurant. The show’s humor, combined with brilliant sound design, adds a whole new dimension to the experience. And the best part? You get to see which spot takes home the ultimate crown of mediocrity—a title these restaurants don’t even know they’re competing for, as Michael so aptly puts it. https://pod.link/1649646224
