andPodcast: The Confessions of Anthony Raimondi
Why do you recommend it: It's a wild story (Anthony claims to have helped poison the pope), but this podcast is amazing because Anthony is a very compelling character. He is full of stories that are either true or so not true. I don't care, I want to hear all the stories. He's WILD. (Also, this is the team that brought us You Didn't See Nothin, my #1 pick of last year). Episode 1 is one of the best first episodes I've heard in a while. It feels like a comic book

Podcast: The Ladies Illness Library
Why do you recommend it: I adore this podcast because as someone who has struggled with a myriad of chronic illnesses over the years, it makes me feel like I'm not alone. There's humor and hope in the conversations in this podcast.

ofPodcast: Nuances: Our Asian Stories
Why do you recommend it: Queer historical narratives are often skewed to the West. We need some Eastern representation in here! LAZOU from Nuances is doing that. This season features fantastic stories about queerness in pre-colonial Asia that we don't talk about enough.

ofPodcast: Conspiracy, She Wrote
Why do you recommend it: Conspiracy theories are more popular than ever and Cristen Cronger of Unladylike Media is exploring some WILD ones through an intersectional feminist lens. Women have been the overlooked architects, evangelizers, and symbols of many modern conspiracy theories — Taylor Swift as a government psyop, #whereiskatemiddleton, and now Kamala's 'coup' summer. I'm excited to learn about what these conspiracy theories mean for us, what we choose to believe, and why.

Podcast: Play On Podcasts: As You Like It
Why do you recommend it: Get ready for a brand new tale full of music and joy to spice up your summer listening. Set in Woodstock during the sixties’ “Summer of Love,” David Ivers’ translation of Shakespeare’s “As You Like It” upends the rules of romance, gender, nature, and politics in a tale of life’s joy and confusion. Directed by Kim Martin Cotten with original songs and music by Lindsay Jones. Not to mention, the cover art is absolutely GORGEOUS.

Podcast: Even The Royals
Why do you recommend it: Even the Royals’ latest season is on Henry VIII’s six wives. The podcast tells British history in an interesting way and I’m fascinated by how Henry VIII had six wives. So far, I’ve only listened to the episodes on his first wife, Catherine, and I was entertained by their love story and how their marriage ended.
