I literally JUST had this conversation on Sunday with my seatmate on a flight back from Europe. He must have read the same article, ha. I typically don't order coffee but on the few occasions I've been able to fly business or first class and they're serving a nice breakfast with pastries, it's just instinct to be like, "Yes, coffee sounds great, too!"

I don't drink coffee or tea in airplanes because they taste bad :-(. I recently heard an episode of On purpose with Jay Shetty. This is well known podcast but I loved what Rick Rubin (his guest) said. He spoke about the power of doing what you love for the sake of doing it, the magic of art creation and the power of doing it because it brings you energy. It was a reminder of continuing our creative life without getting fixated with fame or numbers: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/on-purpose-with-jay-shetty/id1450994021?i=1000615679563

Translated by Hansol Jung and directed by Dustin Wills, this series takes listeners straight into the studio where actors create their own special effects and bring Brian Quijada's original songs and music to life with incomparable flare and passion!

If you are a Shakespeare lover, this series is a must add to your queue! It will quickly become your favorite binge series as you're coming back to work from the holidays. It's a fun, easy listen filled with music, joy, and studio-level special effects. Play On Podcasts always brings an element of surprise to their series and this one is no exception. Check it out!

(I don't drink airplane coffee, but *DO* bring my own decaf coffee "bags" and just ask for hot water). Three of my podcast recommendations: Feminist Wellness with Victoria Albina ... A More Beautiful Way with Bethaney Wilkinson ... and Your Mama's Kitchen.

Love it! Do you mind sharing a bit about why you recommend each one?

Absolutely!! Feminist Wellness is a really powerful podcast that breaks down complicated topics like how to regulate your nervous system, dealing with attachment / relationship issues, and emotional boundaries (and more!), and Host Victoria does so in a *really really* delightful way, with a little sass, and with a LOT of warmth and a style that feels as though she is speaking just to the individual listener.

Your Mama's Kitchen is new, but I'm already obsessed. Michele Norris (from NPR's All Things Considered) is the host and asks each guest a few simple questions, starting with "tell me about your mama's kitchen". The episodes are full of childhood experiences, really emotional and poignant stories, and listeners have the joy of learning nuance about the guests that we likely wouldn't hear in any other interview.

A More Beautiful Way is a beautifully contemplative podcast that explores homesteading, culture building in organizations, slowing down, and healing in the midst of advocacy. The host, Bethaney, offers both gorgeous solo episodes and really thoughtful and incredible guests!
